Ukraine has transferred $60 million in a coupon payment on 10-year sovereigns issued in 2011 to the tune of UAH 1.5 billion at 7.95% per annum, a source in the market told UNIAN.
At the same time, Ukraine's Finance Ministry hasn't commented on the transaction yet.
In keeping with the debt repayment schedule, Ukraine is to pay about $500 million on eurobonds in September. Some experts forecast that Ukraine may announce a moratorium on this payment if talks on the restructuring of Ukraine's sovereign debt fail.
