On Wednesday, August 26, hryvnia quotes against the dollar on the interbank currency market settled at UAH 21.45/21.65 by the close of trade, a broker at a commercial bank has told an UNIAN correspondent.
According to the source, the quotes of the hryvnia against the euro are at 24.4050/25.6290, while those against the Russian ruble have settled at 0.3070/0.3100.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was 21.4257 to the dollar, with 616 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $509.38 million.
