Alcohol to rise in price by one-third from September 1

It will be the second round of increase of the wholesale and retail prices of alcoholic beverages. The first increase was on July 11, due to inflation and the fall of Ukraine's national currency.

In addition, the adopted changes will also apply to cognac, whiskey, champagne and wine. Therefore, the minimum wholesale price of vodka and alcoholic beverages per liter of pure alcohol will increase to nearly UAH 160, while the minimum retail price will be about UAH 250.
