Surplus of Ukraine's consolidated budget totaled UAH 15.4 billion in January-July this year as compared to a deficit of UAH 28.021 billion for the same period last year, according to the Ukrainian Finance Ministry.
The revenues of the consolidated budget in January-July 2015 amounted to UAH 351.55 billion, which was 37.5% up year-over-year. The expenses of the budget grew to UAH 335.285 billion, or 18.7%.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the state budget of Ukraine in January-July 2015 posted a UAH 2.3 billion deficit, which was 14.3 times lower compared to a deficit of UAH 32.8 billion in the same period last year.
According to thestate budget of Ukraine for 2015, revenues are projected at UAH 502.260 billion, expenses – at UAH 566.870 billion, with the maximum amount of the deficit set at UAH 75.820 billion, or 4.1% of GDP, and the debt ceiling set at UAH 1.394 trillion.
The actual budget deficit of Ukraine in 2014, including the issuance of VAT refund bonds to compensate the difference in tariffs to local budgets, amounted to UAH 78.07 billion, which was 20.7% up year-over-year.
