"Chairman of the State Space Agency has returned from his trip. It is reliably known that no contracts have been signed during this visit. A memorandum of understanding has only been signed. Other details have not been disclosed," the agency press service told UNIAN when commenting on some media reports that Ukraine has signed the contract to supply engines and carrier rockets for Boeing.

At the same time, the press service noted that negotiations on cooperation with the U.S. companies have been carried out for some years now.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on September 1, 2015, the delegation of Ukraine, led by Chairman of the State Space Agency of Ukraine, Liubomyr Sabadosh, arrived with a visit to the United States. The delegation had meetings in NASA and with the representatives of the leading U.S. space companies, i.e. Orbital ATK and Boeing.

The negotiations demonstrated the unlimited prospects for strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the area on space exploration for peaceful purposes. The arrangements to intensify contacts in certain practical areas were reached, according to the report.
