Cabinet withdraws draft budget for 2016 for revision

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine withdrew the draft state budget for 2016 within a few hours after it had been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration, according to the official web portal of the parliament.

"The draft has been withdrawn," the report says.

On September 14, during the coordination board meeting, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Viacheslav Kyrylenko said that the draft 2016 Budget had been submitted to the parliament, but the government would later withdraw the document for revision.

The Cabinet of Ministers registered the draft law on the state budget of Ukraine for 2016 in the Verkhovna Rada, as required by the Budget Code, but the text of the bill was not presented on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
