NBU cuts UAH rate by four kopiykas late Sep 15

The National Bank of Ukraine on Tuesday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by four kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 21.99 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for September 16:

$100 – UAH 2,199.8165 (on September 15 it was UAH 2,195.2695);

EUR 100 – UAH 2,490.1923 (on September 15, it was UAH 2,481.7522);

10 RUB – UAH 3.275 (on September 15, it was UAH 3.2304).

As UNIAN reported earlier, on Tuesday, September 15, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade rose to UAH 21.90/22.03 to the dollar.

Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 24.7680/24.9130, while those against the Russian ruble have settled at UAH 0.3280/0.3300.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 21.9982 to the dollar, with 556 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $351.04 million.
