Finance Ministry discloses indicators of 2016 budget sent for review

The draft national budget for 2016, which was sent for review on September 14, foresaw budget revenues at UAH 550.039 billion and outlays at UAH 621.192 billion with a deficit limit of UAH 79.17 billion, according to a posting on the Finance Ministry's website.

The ceiling limit of state debt was set at UAH 1.575 trillion, the posting said.

The ministry proposed the minimum monthly income level at UAH 1,330 from January 1, 2016, at UAH 1,399 from May 1, and at UAH 1,496 from December 1. The minimum wage was planned at UAH 1,378 from January 1, UAH 1,450 from May 1, and at UAH 1,550 from December 1.

The National Bank of Ukraine's transfers to the budget were projected at UAH 34.063 billion.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukrainian government on September 14 approved a bill on the national budget of Ukraine for 2016 and submitted it to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, but later the document was withdrawn for finalization.

The Ministry of Finance earlier reported that the 2016 state budget envisaged a deficit at 3.7% of GDP, the hryvnia exchange rate was projected at 22.1 UAH/USD, with GDP growth expected at 2% amid 12% inflation.
