It is reported that on September 23, Head of Iran's Aviation Industries Organization Manouchehr Manteghi said that an Iranian delegation had held a series of meetings in Moscow on leasing two Superjet 100 aircraft for the Iranian fleet.

Prime also reported that Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov said in mid-July that Moscow and Tehran were negotiating contracts for supplying twin-engine Superjet 100 aircraft to Iran.
