Inspections of Polish companies that export their products to the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union have been scheduled for October 26 - November 6, Rosselkhoznadzor informed on its website late Tuesday, according to the report.

On September 25, Rosselkhoznadzor received news that a number of Polish companies had refused a consent to carry out such inspection, without specifying reasons for their decision, the Russian service noted.

Rosselkhoznadzor stated that the decision to temporarily ban the import of fish products from Polish companies was made "taking into consideration constant postponement by the Polish producers of the inspection performance, refusal to carry out inspections of the companies included in the register of producers which products are subject to inspection when imported to the territory of the Customs Union." It is noted that this decision is in line with the regulatory framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
