Ukrnafta pays Naftogaz all dividends for 2014

Ukraine's largest oil producer Ukrnafta has paid dividends for 2014 in full to its major stockholder – NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, having transferred UAH 632.3 million to the national budget, the oil company announced on its website.

The dividends amounted to UAH 23.32 per share.

As the company said, its shareholders decided at a general meeting on July 22, 2015, that 99.99% of the company's net profit worth UAH 1.26 billion would be spent on the payment of dividends. The deadline for the payment was October 3, 2015. Naftogaz's amount should have been transferred to Ukraine's budget.

Newly appointed Ukrnafta CEO Mark Rollins told reporters on October 1 that Ukrnafta had already paid Naftogaz UAH 200 million out of the allocated UAH 632.3 million, and would transfer the remaining sum by the end of that week.

UNIAN's memo. Public JSC Ukrnafta is the largest oil producer in Ukraine. It accounts for 68% of crude oil and condensate output in Ukraine. It also produces 11% of this country's natural gas.

What is more, it is a large operator on the retail fuel market in Ukraine, as it owns over 560 gas filling stations across the country.

Ukrnafta's shares are listed on the Ukrainian Exchange and the PFTS exchange. Its depositary receipts are traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
