Ukraine’s consolidated budget recorded a surplus of UAH 28.309 billion against a deficit of UAH 28.634 billion a year earlier, according to the website of the Finance Ministry.
Revenues of the consolidated budget in January-August amounted to UAH 411.742 billion, 39.2% more than in the same period last year.
The budget saw a UAH 337.696 billion income in the said period, up 46.5% year-over-year.
Consolidated budget expenditures in January-August amounted to UAH 382.778 billion, which is 18.2% more than in the same period of 2014.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's national budget in January-July 2015 posted a UAH 2.3 billion deficit, which was more than 92.9%, or 14.3 times, down on a deficit estimated at UAH 32.8 million in the same period last year.
The approved national budget for 2015 foresees revenues at UAH 502.260 billion, while outlays are projected at UAH 566.870 billion. A limit size of the budget deficit is set at UAH 75.820 billion, or 4.1% of GDP. The state debt cap is fixed at UAH 1.394 trillion.
