Advisor to the Economic Development and Trade Minister Oleksiy Evchenko claims that if Ukraine passes a law to legalize gambling that will allow four- and five-star hotels to house casinos, the geography of future casinos will correspond to the locations on the map.
Should gambling be legalized in Ukraine, casinos will be opened at four- and five-star hotels in almost all cities and large towns, Evchenko wrote on Facebook.
"If they pass a law to legalize gambling with location at hotels of such categories, the geography of casinos will correspond to these spots on the map," he wrote.
What is more, if additional requirements are introduced for the hotels, namely, the number of rooms, additional infrastructure, the ratio of rooms and the gambling zone, the number of these outlets may considerably change, he added.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko previously suggested that casinos and betting offices be allowed in Ukraine.
