Ukrainians pay UAH 521 mln of property tax in 2015

On January 1, 2015 a law on amendments to the Tax Code came into force, introducing a new tax on real estate regarding apartments over 60 square meters and houses over 120 square meters.

In January-September, 2015, UAH 521 million of the tax on real property, other than land parcels, was paid to the State Budget of Ukraine, which is UAH 487.9 million more than in the same period last year, the press service of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reported.

The plan was executed by 114.9%, according to the report.
