Ukraine's largest bank, PrivatBank, posted UAH 89.861 million in net profit January through September 2015, the bank's press service told UNIAN.
Its revenues from interest in the nine months of 2015 grew by 11.7% year-over-year, to UAH 23.701 billion, while revenues from commission soared by 1.5 times, to UAH 4.032 billion, the bank said in its reporting for the period under review.
The bank's assets have expanded by 18.2% since the beginning of the year, to UAH 241.809 billion, issued loans and clients' debts have grown by 12.4%, to UAH 181.362 billion. Liabilities increased by 19.1%, to UAH 216.532 billion, clients' assets grew by 14.4%, to UAH 161.657 billion, while its net worth rose by 11.4%, to UAH 25.277 billion. The bank's charter capital increased by 17.4%, to UAH 21.256 billion.
UNIAN's memo. Dnipropetrovsk-based PrivatBank has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 1992. It is the largest bank in Ukraine in terms of assets. Its key shareholders are Hennadiy Boholiubov and Ihor Kolomoisky, who directly and indirectly own 45.3182% of the bank's capital each.
The PrivatBank international banking group services over 22 million corporate and retail clients in 10 countries.
In 2014, the bank posted UAH 749.036 million in profit.
