Crimea is overwhelmed with surrogate alcoholic beverages, as counterfeits are sold under the guise of Crimean wines and brandies in crowded places, especially in the holiday season, illegitimate Minister of Industrial Policy of occupied Crimea, Andrey Skrynnik, said on Monday, according to local news agency Novosti Kryma.
"The sale of surrogate products discredits such terms as "Crimean wines," "Crimean cognacs" in the eyes of our customers and causes huge financial damage to the economy of producers and retail," he said.
