State-owned Ukreximbank’s losses double since year start

The State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine (JSC Ukreximbank) incurred losses amounting to UAH 8.330 billion in January-September 2015, against a loss of UAH 3.951 billion in the same period last year, according to a posting on the website of the bank.

It is reported that bank's assets increased 11.08% since the beginning of the year amounting to UAH 140.192 billion, bank's liabilities grew 18.9% to UAH 133.680 billion, while the bank's equity shrank  by 2.1 times to UAH 6.512 billion.

Ukreximbank has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 1992 and is one of the largest financial institutions in terms of assets, with 100% of its shares owned by the state.
