On October 30, the National Bank of Ukraine will hold an auction to sell $50 million by the Dutch scheme, NBU Governor Valeriya Gontareva said at a meeting with members of the American Chamber of Commerce on Friday.
According to Gontareva, the regulator will not set the selling rate of the currency, and banks will offer the rate at which they are willing to buy the currency.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the NBU said Thursday it leaves the country's benchmark interest rate unchanged after two months of cuts as inflation exceeded the NBU’s forecasts last month, according to Bloomberg.
