Respective resolution No. 1106-r dated October 28, 2015, was posted on the Ukrainian government's portal.

The Cabinet also authorized Ukraine's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy Yevhen Perelyhin to sign the agreement on behalf of Ukraine.

The World Food Programme said it had no presence in Ukraine before the Donbas crisis broke out in April 2014.

In cooperation with other UN agencies and in partnership with People in Need (PIN), ADRA (Adventist and Development Relief Agency), and Mercy Corps in Ukraine, WFP provides gap-filling assistance aimed at reaching the most vulnerable people, including internally displaced persons from Donbas.

WFP is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.

Each year, WFP assists some 80 million people in around 80 countries.
