National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy is waiting for the decision of the Stockholm court on gas dispute with Russia, launched in the spring of 2014, in the first half of 2016, Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolev has told journalists.
"We are preparing for the hearing, which should begin in the first quarter of next year. We expect [the hearings] will be over in the first half of 2016," Kobolev said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Naftogaz was planning to raise claims against Gazprom to almost $24 billion. Naftogaz was reported to raise the sum of claims lodged with the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce against Russia's Gazprom regarding a contract signed in 2009 on gas transit supplies in connection with low amounts of transit
