Energoatom to pay nearly UAH 4mln to KPMG for procurement analysis

The auditors will analyse Energoatom’s procurement system for its efficiency and transparency.

The state-owned Energoatom, the operator of Ukraine’s all active nuclear power plants, intends to pay one of the world's largest auditing firms, KPMG, UAH 3.96 million for a comprehensive review of its procurement system, according to the statement of Ukraine’s nuclear monopoly on a State Procurement online portal.

According to the report, the auditors will analyze Energoatom’s procurement for its efficiency, transparency and check on signs of corruption or discriminatory factors.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Energoatom will pay UAH 684,000 to BDO, which is part of BDO International, the world’s fifth largest international network of independent accounting and consulting firms in terms of total revenue, for the audit of the company’s financial reports in 2015.
