The National Bank of Ukraine on Friday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by 15 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 23.98 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for November 23:
$100 costs UAH 2,398.4576 (on November 20, it was UAH 2,383.9146);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,563.4715 (on November 20, it was UAH 2,547.6895);
10 RUB costs UAH 3.6975 (on November 20, it was UAH 3.6725).
As UNIAN reported earlier, on Friday, November 20, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 24.00/24.07 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 25.6600/25.7330, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.3700/0.3720.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 16:00 was UAH 23.9845 to the dollar, with 473 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $220.27 million.
