Ukraine ranked 107th of 189th in the Paying Taxes ranking in 2015, according to a joint ranking of the World Bank Group and the PwC auditing company.
Thus, Ukraine advanced only one position (last year our country ranked 108th). According to the rating, Ukraine takes place between Ghana and Fiji.
At the same time, the Total Tax Rate (TTR) is 52.2%. On average, the world's tax rate amounts to 40.8%.
According to the ranking, Russia ranks 47th (TTR – 47%). Belarus ranks 63rd (TTR – 51.8%), Uzbekistan – 115th (TTR – 41.1%), Georgia – 40th (TTR – 16.4%), Moldova – 78th (TTR – 40.2%), Armenia – 41st (TTR – 19.9%), Bulgaria – 88th (TTR – 27%).
Every year, the World Bank Group and the PwC auditing company within the Doing Business rating conduct a study of tax systems around the world.
The ranking takes into account the amount of tax payments, the time required for their payment, and the total tax burden on the average company that does not enjoy tax benefits.
