During the evening hours Simferopol is in total power blackout, however, the billboard with the image of Russian President Vladimir Putin installed on one of the city buildings continues to be illuminated in the evening, according to the Crimean news agency Krym.Realii.
The city "authorities" ordered to turn off illuminated signs and outdoor lighting and have cafes and bars closed after 22:00.
As earlier reported, at 00:25 on November 22, the occupied Crimea was cut off from electricity supplies from mainland Ukraine. Currently, Russian-supplied diesel generators partly ensure power in the annexed peninsula.
