Russia will overcome the problems with power supplies to Crimea, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting of the State Council Presidium in Nizhny Tagil, according to Russian information news agency RIA Novosti.
"We must do everything possible so that temporary power generation sources could work, and by December 20, as we have agreed, the first line of energy bridge will be constructed. In the summer of 2016, the second line will be built," he said.
Putin went on to thank the Crimea residents for "their resistance, for their willingness to overcome some hardships related to this energy blockade."
