The National Bank of Ukraine on Monday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by six kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 23.94 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for December 1:
$100 costs UAH 2,394.8086 (on November 30, it was UAH 2,388.4656);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,533.4680 (on November 30, it was UAH 2,526.9966);
10 RUB costs UAH 3.5884 (on November 30, it was UAH 3.6058).
As UNIAN reported earlier, on Monday, December 30, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 23.98/24.08 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 25.3750/25.4790, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.3620/0.3640.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 23.9481 to the dollar, with 580 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $406.35 million.
