Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies have sent an open letter to the country's leaders, demanding safeguards on the domestic market and access to state procurements.
The companies are said to have been forced to such a move in view of the current situation in the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry, in which domestic producers are virtually devoid of the possibility to take part in public procurement process, due to the regulations put in place by the Cabinet of Ministers as part of the reform of the Ukrainian public procurement system.
In their letter, the pharmaceutical producers propose own solutions to the current situation. Over 30 Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies signed the letter.
