Ukraine is ready to give Turkey "a helping hand" replacing Russian food exports to Turkey with Ukrainian goods, in particular with grain and vegetable oils, that’s according to Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk who spoke at a government meeting on Tuesday.
"The latest information on the possible introduction of a Russian trade embargo on supplying grain and vegetable oils to Turkey oils, in fact, also falls into the general line of the Russian Federation. We, Ukraine, clearly declare that, if Russia bans shipments to Turkey of grain and oil, Ukraine is ready to give a helping hand to Turkey and ensure food security of Turkey. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has already received appropriate instructions and consulted with our Turkish partners," said Yatsenyuk.
