"As of the morning on December 10, the amount of power transmitted via the 220 kV Kakhovska-Titan line amounts to 180 MW," the press service reported with reference to Ihor Bosko, chief of Kherson regional backbone grids.

As UNIAN reported earlier, yesterday, December 9, Ukraine reduced power supplies via a single operating transmission line to the annexed Crimea from 185 MW to 20 MW due to an accident in the peninsula's power grid.

On November 29, state company Ukrenergo restored 220 kV Kakhovska-Titan power line and declared its readiness to resume power supplies to the annexed Crimea within a few hours after reaching an agreement with the activists of the Crimea blockade. However, such agreement was not reached. On December 8, Ukrenergo launched one of the four transmission lines in the direction of the Crimea.

At present, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine is developing a new contract which will regulate power supplies to the Crimea.
