Net sales (excess of sales over purchases) of foreign currency in cash by individuals in November amounted to $70.2 million, according to a posting on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
The tendency of supply exceeding demand for foreign currency in the cash currency market has been observed for the tenth month in a row, according to the regulator's data.
In November, the volume of transactions with cash foreign currency in the interbank foreign exchange market in dollar terms amounted to $196 million, including $133.1 million sold by individuals to the banks, and $62.9 million bought by them.

In 2014, net purchases of foreign currency (excess of purchases over sales) by individuals in Ukraine amounted to $2.410 billion, which was lower by $469.5 million as compared to $2,880 billion in 2013.
