$225 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2016 draft budget - Finance Ministry

The Cabinet of Ministers has fixed the gas price of $225 per 1,000 cubic meters in the draft national budget of Ukraine for 2016, as stated in the presentation materials of the Finance Ministry of Ukraine.

"The average price of gas is $225 per 1,000 cubic meters," according to the presentation prepared for a speech of Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko in the Verkhovna Rada on December 11, which, however, did not take place.

Earlier, Ukrainian Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn noted that the gas price for Ukraine is set at $210-$215 per 1,000 cubic meters in the state budget for 2016.
