The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and the National Bank of the Republic of Poland have signed a SWAP-agreement on the allocation of a credit line of EUR 1 billion to Ukraine, Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland Andriy Deschytsia wrote on Twitter.
"A perfect gift for the Day of diplomacy – a SWAP agreement between the NBU and the National Bank of Poland on a credit line of EUR 1 billion," Deschytsia tweeted.
Earlier, the agreement on granting funds was announced by Polish President Andrzej Duda and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
