Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeriya Gontareva announces that the Central Bank projects inflation in Ukraine by the end of 2015 at 44%.
Inflation will hit about 44% by the end of the year," she said at a final press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
As UNIAN reported earlier, consumer prices in Ukraine increased by 2% in November 2015, as compared to the previous month. Inflation in annual terms (November 2015 against November 2014) accelerated to 46.6% from 46.4% recorded in the previous month.
January through November 2015, consumer prices in Ukraine grew by 42.3%.
