Deficit of Ukraine's budget in 11 months estimated at UAH 4.3 bln

Ukraine's national budget deficit in January-November amounted to UAH 4.3 billion, which is 14 times lower than a deficit of UAH 62.276 billion a year earlier, the Ukrainian Finance Ministry reported on its website.

The surplus of Ukraine's consolidated budget totaled UAH 19.970 billion.

The national budget's revenues increased by 50.4% in the reported period, to UAH 479.853 billion. Expenditures grew by 27.1% to UAH 481.027 billion. Consolidated budget revenues saw a 43.2% increase to UAH 584.732 billion, while expenditures rose by 22.5% to UAH 561.512 billion.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the deficit of Ukraine's national budget in October reached UAH 6 billion due to lower non-tax revenues, including the planned reduction in the NBU profit transfers to the state budget, as well as the expected increase in spending compared to the previous month.

The surplus of Ukraine's national budget in January-September amounted to UAH 8.8 billion against a deficit of UAH 40.1 billion in the same period last year. In particular, in September the surplus of the national budget stood at UAH 1.1 billion.

The 2015 national budget foresees UAH 502.260 billion in revenue and UAH 566.870 billion in expenditures. The deficit is limited to UAH 75.820 billion, or 4.1% of GDP. The state debt is capped at UAH 1.394 trillion.
