Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn expects the arrival of a new batch of anthracite coal from South Africa on February 4-5.
"We expect the vessel to arrive on February 4-5," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
State-run Centrenergo earlier announced that a second vessel carrying 85,000 tonnes of coal is arriving in Ukraine from South Africa late in January 2016.
As UNIAN reported earlier the first batch of 168,000 tonnes of South African coal was delivered by sea early in December 2015. Demchyshyn said that the coal was bought by Centrenergo at a price of $57 per tonne.
