Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Wednesday strengthened to UAH 24.48/24.70 to the dollar by the middle of trade, a broker at a commercial bank has told an UNIAN correspondent.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 26.8250/27.0660, while those against the Russian ruble have settled at UAH 0.3060/0.3090.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 12:00 was UAH 24.6683 to the dollar, with 73 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $26.6 million.
