Natural gas production in Ukraine in 2015 fell by 3.1% from 2014, to 19.2 billion cubic meters, according to Ukraine's State Statistics Service.
The statistical data does not include information from the occupied Crimea and Sevastopol and certain areas in Donbas where the Anti-Terrorist Operation is under way.
In December 2015, gas production rose by 17.9% from November 2015, to 1.7 billion cubic meters, while it shrank by 2% from December 2014.
As UNIAN reported earlier, natural gas production in Ukraine in 2014 declined by 3.4% from 2013, to 19.7 billion cubic meters.
Natural gas output in Ukraine in 2013 rose by 1.7% from 2012, to 20.4 billion cubic meters.
