Ukraine uses all 2016 quotas for poultry meat exports from EU

As of February 1, Ukrainian importers of poultry meat have fully used the 2016 quotas for duty-free supplies of these products from the EU, which amounts to 18,000 tonnes, according to the report on the implementation of the program of the Cabinet of Ministers "Ukraine-2020," published on the government portal.

"As of February 1, 2016, the importers of poultry meat have exercised their right to the use of quotas at 100%," the document says.

According to the report, since the beginning of the year, the Ukrainian exporters received in the State Fiscal Service 4,500 EUR.1 certificates for deliveries of goods to the EU. This year, 23 companies were granted a status of the EU-approved exporter. These companies supply honey, ketchup and sauces, sunflower oil, baker's yeast, biscuits, glass products and other goods.
