Net sales (excess of sales over purchases) of foreign currency in cash by individuals in January amounted to $114.8 million, according to a posting on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
In January, banks sold $39.5 million worth of cash foreign currency to individuals and bought $154.2 million in cash, the NBU said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in 2015, net sales of foreign currency by individuals in Ukraine amounted to $1.55 billion.
