The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday evening lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by 14 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.08 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for February 12:
$100 costs UAH 2,608.3668 (on February 11, it was UAH 2,594.1180);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,959.7138 (on February 11, it was UAH 2,920.1986);
10 RUB costs UAH 3.2970 (on February 11, it was UAH 3.2808).
On Thursday, February 11, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the middle of trade settled at UAH 26.05/26.12 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.4700/29.5460, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.3270/0.3290.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 13:00 was UAH 26.0991 to the dollar, with 259 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $96.64 million.
