Ukraine and Turkey in March intend to resume negotiations on a free trade zone that were halted in 2013, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on September 18, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers created three negotiating groups tasked with holding talks to establish a free trade area with Turkey, Serbia and Israel.
According to the government's decision, all the negotiating groups are headed by Ukraine Trade Representative and Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nataliya Mykolska.
