The cumulative loss of Ukrainian operating banks, excluding those that have been designated as insolvent, as of January 1, 2016 amounted to UAH 66.6 billion, which was a record high annual loss rate, even when compared with a loss of UAH 52.966 billion in 2014, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reported on its website.
The cumulative loss of banks operating in Ukraine, excluding the insolvent ones, as of December 1, 2015 amounted to UAH 57.3 billion, including a loss of UAH 3.7 billion the banks posted in October.
