Ukrainian taxpayers using the simplified tax system transferred about UAH 1.2 billion in flat-rate tax, also known as single tax, to the national budget in January 2016, according to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
In particular, private entrepreneurs paid UAH 790.7 million in self-employed tax last month, which was UAH 217.2 million up on the same period last year. Legal entities that use the simplified tax system transferred UAH 366.3 million in flat-rate tax to the budget in January 2016.
In 2015, Ukraine's national budget received UAH 10.9 billion from individuals and companies that work with the use of the simplified tax system.
