Naftogaz estimates total claims against Gazprom at $30 bln

As reported earlier, Naftogaz has filed a lawsuit against Russian Gazprom with the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) seeking the revision of its natural gas transit contract with Gazprom, as well as compensation from Gazprom for the shortfall in gas transit volumes. Ukraine has also provided the Russian Federation with a formal written notification of an investment dispute over its assets seized in Crimea. The company stated that it would seek to regain control over its assets on the peninsula through international courts and would also seek reimbursement for all incurred losses.
