U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt says that Ukraine should become an agricultural superpower, because it has got all the capabilities.
"Ukraine must become the world's agricultural superpower," the ambassador said during an official ceremony to sign an investment agreement worth $100 million on the construction of a grain terminal at the port of Yuzhny.
In his words, farm produce exports from Ukraine in 2015 topped $16 billion.
"Ukraine has more than a quarter of the black soil reserves; Ukrainian exports have already demonstrated a 40% increase. One should not stop with this," he added.
