Ukraine's trade mission will visit Iran in May-June this year to meet business representatives of the country, Ukraine Trade Representative Nataliya Mykolska wrote on Facebook.
"We have agreed to organize a trade mission with participation of Ukrainian businesses to Iran (Tehran and regions) under the auspices of Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade in May-June envisaging visits to regions," Mykolska wrote.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukrainian trade mission's visit to Iran, initially scheduled for late 2015, has been postponed to the first quarter of 2016 due to a number of reasons, including the necessity to adopt the budget and the tax code by Ukraine. The key topics of the talks will include the promotion of Ukrainian machine building products and farm produce on the Iranian market, according to the report.
This year, Ukraine plans to resume cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas after a 11-year halt.
