Price of industrial products rises over 1% in one month

The prices set by Ukraine’s industrial producers in February 2016 rose by 1.5% compared to January, according to the State Statistics Service.

Industrial products’ prices jumped 17.4% year-over-year, the agency says, adding that the difference with December, 2015 shows a 0.4% rise.

Prices in the mining and quarrying increased by 6.4% in February against January, including in the extraction of coal – by 17.2%; crude oil – by 7%; metal ores – by 4.2%; stone, sand and clay – by 2.1%. However, prices of the extraction of natural gas have decreased by 0.6%.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the prices of Ukraine’s industrial producers in 2015 (December 2015 to December 2014) increased by 25.4%. Prices as of December 2015 rose 0.3% compared to November 2015.
