The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has prepared a deficit-free draft budget of the Pension Fund for 2016, Ukrainian newspaper Ekonomichna Pravda reported with reference to a document to be considered at a government meeting on Thursday.
According to the document, revenues of the Pension Fund are projected at UAH 257.2 billion, and expenditures – at UAH 256.4 billion.
Taking into account the balance of Ukraine's Pension Fund accounts at the end of last year in the amount of UAH 840 million, the draft budget "is balanced" also on the expenditure side – at UAH 257.2 billion.
Own proceeds from payments of single social security tax (earmarked for the national pension insurance) are projected at UAH 105.4 billion, which is lower by UAH 62.7 billion than in 2015.
Last year, the figure was projected at UAH 168.1 billion.
State budget subsidies are projected at UAH 144.9 billion, according to the draft budget.
According to the explanatory note, the budget has been drafted based on the volume of the payroll fund at UAH 565.7 billion.
