The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 67 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 25.51 to the dollar.
The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for March 11:
$100 costs UAH 2,551.9193 (on March 10, it was UAH 2,618.2756);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,770.6188 (on March 10, it was UAH 2,873.0338);
10 RUB costs UAH 3.5896 (on March 10, it was UAH 3.6175).
On Thursday, March 10, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 25.50/25.62 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 28.1290/28.2610, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.3580/0.3600.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 25.5192 to the dollar, with 523 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $464.75 million.
