The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) plans to sell state-owned stakes in 22 companies at a 60% discount and in nine enterprises at a 50% discount through stock exchanges in the period between March 15 and March 18, the SPF press service reported.
The price of state assets has been reduced due to no demand for the mentioned stakes at previous auctions.
In particular, on March 15, the SPF plans to sell at a 60% discount a 97% stake in agricultural company Bilyky (Chernihiv region) with opening price of UAH 1.38 million, as well as a 25% stake in Chernihiv plant of radio equipment with starting bid of UAH 4.67 million through the Ukrainian Stock Exchange.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the SPF plans to put up for sale 450 state-owned entities this year, including 20 large enterprises, 50 medium-sized companies, and 380 small entities.
The 2016 budget projects proceeds from privatization at UAH 17.1 billion.
